The Speak Up Helpline is an external service administered by an independent company. It is provided on behalf of the Balfour Beatty Group, not your business, so impartiality and confidentiality are assured.
You will be able to speak to someone who is a good listener and is trained to high professional standards, or you can raise your concern or question via the dedicated website or telephone hotline.
When you use the helpline you’ll be asked if you want to disclose your contact information. If you say yes, this information may be recorded in a database. Where applicable by law, you will have a right of access to any personal information about you that is held or processed by or on behalf of Balfour Beatty plc.
Balfour Beatty will always support you for doing the right thing. We will not tolerate any retaliation or discrimination of any kind against anyone who has raised a concern in good faith and this includes any attempt to try and identify the person who raised the concern. If any person believes they or anyone else is experiencing retaliation or discrimination as a result of raising a concern; report it at once in accordance with the company’s whistleblowing policy.
Reports of retaliation or discrimination will be investigated and any proven instances of retaliation or discrimination will be considered a disciplinary matter and appropriate action taken.
